Simone Davis
Naturopath
BHSc (Naturopathy)
Simone Davis first turned to naturopathy when traditional medicine was unable to give her the answers she needed for her own health struggles. After successfully going through treatment with a naturopath, it opened her eyes to a whole new world.
“That was the turning point for me. I ultimately decided that was what I wanted to do with my life - to become a naturopath. At the time I was working in marketing but I studied part-time and completed my degree in 2015.
Because of my early experience, I love to work with new mums. They are a group that is very neglected. Everyone is so focused on the baby, but what about mum?
There are so many changes you go through as a woman when you have a baby. Obviously, there are physical changes but also changes to your career and support systems. Naturopathy has so many beautiful tools to make you feel so much better.” So what can you expect from your first appointment with Simone? Firstly, you can expect that she will listen with compassion and understanding. She has been in your shoes and it is her job to get to the bottom of what’s going on.

“By the time people come to see me they are usually banging their head against a brick wall. The doctors are telling them there is nothing wrong because their blood tests and scans are all clear. But they feel terrible and they’re just looking for answers.
It’s so exciting to me that someone has made the decision to see a naturopath and I never take that for granted. The beauty of what I do is I help people take control of their health again.
There is never usually just one thing so that’s why we look at all different aspects of life - exercise, job, diet, mental health, bowel, immune system etc. I take a very holistic approach to look at the big picture. You can’t fix everything at once, but we can start to relieve some of the symptoms.”
For Simone, that’s the benefit of working in a multidisciplinary practice and team like Ideal Health Solutions.
“We are a one-stop shop with the ability to refer patients within the clinic. It’s very convenient for people to have access to so many services under one roof. I see a lot of mental health patients and also people with gut problems. There is a lot of value in cross-referral to the other disciplines within the practice.
Dr Daniel Zrnic has created a very family-like environment here. There are a lot of long term patients here so it becomes very personalised.”
In addition to her naturopathy degree, Simone is a certified VLA Practitioner and holds a Tibetan Usui Reiki Certificate of Natural Healing First Degree. She is also a member of the National Herbalist Association of Australia.
Simone’s children are now teenagers and they love spending family time at her parent's farm in Gerringong. She also loves Yoga and spends much of her time on her house renovation.
