Dr Daniel Zrnic first developed his chiropractic passion after his GP suggested he see a chiropractor for treatment for injuries he suffered in a bad car accident. He had always wanted to be a dentist but after he finished his degree in medical science he made the switch to chiropractic studies.
“I completed my studies in 2010 and opened my own practice shortly after. It was a bit of a punt to take but it has paid off. In the years since Ideal Health Solutions has now grown to be an all-encompassing multimodal and multidisciplinary clinic.
Broadening the team has completed the picture for me. Chiropractic on its own is highly effective but working alongside the other professionals in the team enables us to complete a patient’s prognosis or health care. A patient may present with acute lower back pain caused by lifting weights. I can give them home exercises to remove the pain symptoms but then when we look at the biomechanics we can determine that they also need to see a podiatrist to be fitted with orthotics. From there they would be best seeing a physiotherapist for rehab to strengthen their spine and a personal trainer for strength and conditioning.

While Daniel is passionate about the holistic model he has built at Ideal Health Solutions, chiropractic is what gets him out of bed in the morning.
“I’ve never considered what I do as work and I think I’m quite privileged to be able to say that. The immediate change that chiropractic can make in a person’s life is quite remarkable. It’s not just a solution for pain relief but can also help with a general feeling of wellness and care.
Many people think of chiropractic as just adjustments. However, it’s actually about understanding a patient's goals and needs and tailoring a treatment to meet that. It’s one thing to treat the pain… it’s another thing altogether to remove the cause of the pain. It’s my role to listen to my patients to correctly diagnose what is actually happening.”
Daniel has a special interest in functional neurology. He has completed his studies with the Carrick Institute and now focuses on the functional rehabilitation of the spine through various chiropractic neuromuscular stabilisation techniques.

Daniel has three young daughters with his wife and Ideal Health Solutions Co-Director and Counsellor Stefana. Daniel also gives back to his Croatian cultural community as Vice Secretary of the board. He likes to lead a very active lifestyle playing golf, going to the beach, hiking with his family or playing tennis with his wife. He is also a mad snow skier and soccer fanatic.
